Network access information
Aaku is an independent urology patient information leaflet directory for healthcare professionals. It helps users find publisher links, display or copy QR codes, and print QR handouts. It hosts no leaflet content and provides no patient-specific advice or clinical decision support.
Aaku is not an NHS service. This page provides facts for a local IT assessment; it is not a claim of NHS approval or certification.

Browser features
The interactive catalogue needs JavaScript. Copying uses the browser clipboard API after a button press; reading the clipboard is not required. The app generates QR images and handouts locally. Single-leaflet printing uses a same-origin embedded print document and the browser print dialog. No camera, microphone or location access is requested.
Opening a leaflet navigates to the publisher’s own HTTPS website. Those destinations, which include BAUS, Prostate Cancer UK and Macmillan Cancer Support, are subject to the organisation’s separate filtering policy.
If access is blocked
Please ask your local IT service desk to inspect the block reason and review the exact hostname. A new or uncategorised website may need review by the organisation or its filtering provider. If the browser reports a certificate error, provide that error to IT rather than bypassing the warning.
For an access review, provide the address you tried, time of the attempt, browser, network and the block-page category or reference. Include this page and the privacy/support links below. Do not include patient information.
If access is approved, IT can apply its normal hostname-based policy. Cloudflare IP addresses can be shared with other services; access should not require allowing Cloudflare broadly, disabling security inspection or weakening the organisation’s security controls.
